Riverview is a townhouse condo community of 69 condos in 10 buildings on 6 acres in Ossining, NY. It was established in 1984, and developed by Mancini-Ciolo Condominium Co., Inc. 

The view overlooking the Hudson River and the Palisades inspired the architect and builder of Riverview to preserve the natural terrain, limiting construction to a small portion of the total site, and situating each cluster of homes to complement the environment. The result is a community with the atypical qualities of privacy and natural beauty.

The cedar-siding, chimneys and sweeping decks of the homes here project a warm, inviting, “country” character, enhanced by elegant detailing and quality workmanship.

Amenities and Convenience

Riverview includes a private swimming pool with landscaped sitting and sunning area with cabana. There is also a fenced tennis court on site. Just minutes from Riverview are a number of town parks offering playing fields, basketball courts, picnic facilities and more.

  • The exteriors feature vertical cedar siding over 1/2 inch solid plywood sheathing and (where original), steel insulated entrance doors.
  • Balconies or decks adjoining the living rooms have sliding insulated tempered glass doors and screens, with additional balcony on some units.
  • Loft units have skylights with spiral stairs to loft areas in second floor units.
  • Sound dampening system between unit walls and upper floors.
  • The garages and carports are deeded parking spots and for use by their respective owners. For units that don’t have a garage/carport, there is an assigned parking spot. Unassigned parking sports are for guests and visitors.

There are 4 basic unit configurations at Riverview, with individual variations in some units. Square footage runs from 820/920/1024 square feet for 1 bedrooms up to 1127/1311/1363 and one 1891 square foot 2 bedroom unit.

How to get to Riverview

Riverview is located at 60 Hudson View Hl, Ossining NY 10562. 

To get to Riverview if you’re coming north from New York City: take the Saw Mill River Parkway or Bronx River Parkway (to Sprain Brook Parkway) to Route 9A north. Continue north on Route 9A to Stormytown Td. Take a left on Cedar Lane, then another left on Route 9 (North Highland Ave). Take a left in 1 block on Van Cortlandt Ave. Finally, head up the hill and take a left onto Hudson View Hl into the complex.

From New Jersey and Rockland County, take the Tappan Zee Bridge to the New York Thruway (I-87), follow signs to Cross Westchester Expressway East (I-287) to Exit 1 (Saw Mill River Parkway) to Route 9A north, then follow the directions above.
